About PlacementKloud
PlacementKloud was conceptualised to address one of the major issues that institutes and recruiters face year on year – campus placements. When we took cognisance of the amount time, money and effort that went into the process of placements, we were motivated to come up with a solution that could simplify the process for students as well as prospective employers. We take pride in the fact that PlacementKloud is the first initiative of its kind in India.
The Beginning
We started our journey with Innomedia Creations Pvt. Ltd., a design studio that created more than 250 placement brochures, prospectuses and other printed materials required by educational institutions. Over a period of eleven years, we built associations with the best B-schools in the country such as XLRI Jamshedpur, IIM Calcutta, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IIM Lucknow, IIM Indore, IIM Shillong and XIM Bhubaneswar, to name a few. After experiencing success with our innovative creations, we were driven to add more value to the service we were able to provide. For us, the natural next step was to design interactive digital brochures. Gradually, we upgraded our services and developed PlacementKloud.
A drive to simplify the recruitment process
PlacementKloud is a placement tool that simplifies campus placements for both institutes and companies. Essentially, it is a huge database of student profiles from different institutions, saved on a kloud server. Institutes can upload student profiles quickly and easily in batches. Additionally, we have also included professional looking profiles templates that institutes can use to publish profiles of their students. Templates are highly customizable.
Companies, on the other hand, can dig into the huge talent pool and bring up student profiles from different institutes. Recruiters can dynamically filter, sort, search, analyse and shortlist profiles on PlacementKloud.
Our efforts on PlacementKloud are aimed not only at bridging the gap between recruiters and institutes, but also to reduce the resources that go into placements. Since recruiters can filter student profiles before visiting institutes, and analyse profiles from different colleges, they can shortlist students in their account within a few hours.
We have made PlacementKloud to be an interactive platform for institutes and recruiters. For instance, institutes can invite companies to view profiles of their students. Recruiters send requests to specific institutes to allow access into their student profiles. Thus, creating a win-win situation for all the parties involved. Moreover, we pay a lot of attention to the requirements and feedback, and are constantly making the product better suited.
